BeMyFiasco shares her long-awaited new EP, ‘Pretty Little Love’.
Singer/songwriter BeMyFiasco released her lauded debut album, ‘Where I Left You‘, in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Since then, she’s helped longtime collaborator Phonte with music for the second season of IFC’s sketch-comedy series “Sherman’s Showcase”, and contributed guest vocals and songwriting to albums by other artists (Rory’s ‘I Thought It’d Be Different’, Rapper Big Pooh’s ‘To Dream In Color‘, Oddisee’s ‘To What End’, Lalah Hathaway’s ‘VANTABLACK’, etc.).
The Durham-based R&B/Soul artist returns with her highly anticipated follow-up ‘Pretty Little Love’, an eight-track journey through themes of love, lust, and self-discovery.
Available now to stream and cop on all major digital streaming platforms via +FE Music/EMPIRE, the project includes guest features from Phonte, Carlitta Durrand, among others.
‘Pretty Little Love’ also marks the first time BeMyFiasco assumes the role of co-producer (“Don’t Wanna Be Your Lover” and “Finally”), and guitarist (“Finally”) alongside producers such as ROMderful, ANKN & VDR, and Zo! & Tall Black Guy, tapping into both classic and contemporary R&B vibes.
“This project began with just my guitar and a head full of emotions I hadn’t yet put into words,” shares BeMy. “Over these last three years, I’ve learned so much about bringing my vision to life, and while it was terrifying to take the lead, I’m grateful for the support of my FE family. They encouraged me to stay true to my voice. With Phonte’s guidance, I finally had the tools to create something authentically mine.”
