Actress/hip hop artist Keke Palmer released her new single “BOSSY” today everywhere via Big Boss Entertainment / STAR on FOX Cast Album. “BOSSY” is the first official single off of Keke’s upcoming album, expected to release later this year.

“Right now I’m in a super empowering place musically. After working so long with different record companies, I’ve decided to do things independently and create my own label. Not just for myself, but hopefully for other young artists that are lookign to feel change of their own musical careers while having and receiving the support/nurturing environment they need to grow. “Bossy” in so many ways is a musical expression of the state of mind I’ve developed through my artistic growth.” –Keke Palmer

About Keke Palmer:
Actress, Singer, Dancer, Philanthropist are only a few titles the megastar holds. With 15 years in the entertainment business, Keke Palmer’s resume is quite impressive. She began her career with a breakout role in the film “Akeelah and The Bee” and then starred as the title character in the hit cable series “True Jackson, VP,” for which she received four NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children’s Program. She has gone on to star in over 21 feature films and award winning television shows, most recently the Emmy Award winning “Grease: Live” and “A Trip to Bountiful,” for which she earned an NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Actress in a Television Movie, Mini-Series or Dramatic Special.
