MP3: Ali Vegas feat. Erick Sermon - Move! (@IAmAliVegas @IAmErickSermon @BoogeymanBeats)

Throughout the history of the hip hop culture, there have been very few to come into the game at 15 years-old and be compared to the all-time greats. 20 years ago, Ali Vegas was that childhood phenomenon. In 1998, he was brought to Trackmasters/Columbia/Sony and immediately took the whole label and industry by storm. Vegas was quickly recognized as one of the premier emcees coming out of Queens, NY. Due to budget cuts, Trackmasters was forced to close up shop which took Vegas on the independent route. For 20 years, he’s been considered a living legend and an upper echelon lyricist… fast forward to 2018.

It has been brought to our attention that Ali Vegas has now committed to a multi-year, multi-album deal with the famed legendary Def Squad Records established by the hall of fame platinum artist and producer Erick Sermon. Rarely do you see such talent come together to form a modern day “hip hop renaissance”. Both artists were able to speak on record…

“I feel like LeBron James coming to the Lakers. I consider myself to be one of the worlds best at what I do and coming to a brand that is so rich in history I can only compare it to Lebron coming to a team that has a history of legends and hall of fame players. Redman who I respect very much made the Def Squad franchise a household name and I expect to carry that torch and lead Def Squad to a much needed championship. I know E. Sermon feels the same and I look forward to making history with my new coach ‘The Green Eyed Bandit’” –Ali Vegas

“Never in my life have I seen such a pure talent for rhyme scheme, concept creation, and chorus writing… at one point in the late 90s. I felt he best in the game was Nas, AZ and Ali Vegas. Watch what we create together it’s going to be magical. Don’t forget we got Rockwilder and Ty Fyffe along with my two new producers in grooming Boogeyman and 5ickness. Believe me this is a great time for hip hop.” –Erick Sermon

The Green Eyed Bandit & The Prince team up for “Move!” produced by Sermon protege Boogeyman. Ali Vegas tells us all to “MOVE!!!” when he comes in the building and Erick lets us know that “This is something kinda major you guessed it. Erick Sermon and Ali Vegas”. Boogeyman crafts the perfect melodic headbanger for the witty Queens bars of Ali Vegas complemented by the vintage punchlines and metaphors filled rhyme pattern The Green Eyed Bandit has always delivered to the hip hop fans… Truly an instant classic.
